Electrolyte hydration mix with vitamin C and B6
Water won't save you when you break a serious sweat. Along with sweat, you lose sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and chlorides—minerals without which your muscles stop working properly, your head gets foggy, and your performance drops. Pulse Performance Electrolytes is a complex of five electrolytes with vitamin C and active B6 in a single dose. No sugar, no nonsense.
Why water alone isn't enough
It’s a paradox most people don't realize: drinking more water when sweating intensely doesn't solve the problem—it can even make it worse. Sweat isn't pure water. It contains minerals with an electric charge—electrolytes—and without replenishing them, water alone dilutes their concentration in the blood instead of restoring it.
Sodium is the key. It determines how much water your body actually retains and how much it excretes. Studies confirm that beverages with sufficient sodium content lead to better fluid retention and blood volume stability compared to plain water.

What's in every dose and why it matters
Each dose (1 scoop / 5.5 g in 500 ml of water) contains:
- Sodium 650 mgThe most important electrolyte for hydration. It regulates fluid volume in the body, nerve impulse transmission, and muscle contraction. You lose more of it than any other mineral through sweat—and without replenishing it, other electrolytes cannot function fully.
- Chloride 991 mgSodium's indispensable partner. Together, they regulate fluid balance and the body's acid-base environment. It forms the natural foundation of every functional hydration drink.
- Magnesium 150 mg (40% NRV)Involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions. Crucial for athletes: it regulates muscle contractions, helps prevent cramps, and supports energy metabolism. It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue—as confirmed by EFSA.
- Potassium 200 mgWorks in tandem with sodium to regulate muscle function and heart rhythm. It contributes to maintaining normal blood pressure. It is lost through sweat, especially during prolonged or intense performance.
- Calcium 100 mgEssential for muscle contraction—without sufficient calcium levels, muscles cannot contract or relax properly. It also contributes to the normal function of the nervous system.
- Vitamin C 80 mg (100% NRV)A powerful antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress caused by intense physical exertion. It contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the reduction of fatigue.
- Vitamin B6 1.4 mg in active P5P form (100% NRV)Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is the biologically active form of vitamin B6—the body doesn't need to convert it further; it uses it directly. It supports energy metabolism and normal nervous system function.
What hydration really impacts
- Performance.Even a fluid loss corresponding to 2% of body weight—approximately 1.5 L for a person weighing 75 kg—measurably reduces aerobic performance. At a 3–5% loss, problems with thermoregulation and coordination set in. Electrolytes help the body retain ingested fluid where it is needed.

- The mind and focus.Dehydration doesn't just affect muscles—it affects the brain. Studies confirm that even mild dehydration impairs concentration, reaction time, and short-term memory. This applies not only during sports but also during work or mental tasks in hot weather.

- Recovery.Replenishing electrolytes after training speeds up the restoration of mineral balance and prepares the body for the next performance. Research shows that rehydration with electrolytes supports fluid homeostasis recovery and full recovery significantly more effectively than water alone. The faster you recover, the sooner you can train at full intensity again.

When to replenish electrolytes
Electrolytes aren't just for marathon runners and triathletes. You lose them whenever you sweat—and in summer, during sports, or in the sauna, that's practically every day.
- Before training– prepare your body for optimal hydration before you start, not just when thirst hits (thirst is a late signal, not an early warning).
- During training– for performance lasting longer than 60 minutes or during intense sweating. One dose in 500 ml of water replaces what sweat carries away.
- After training– quick restoration of mineral balance as the first step of recovery.
- In the heat– even without sports, you lose electrolytes through sweat. A day on holiday by the sea or in the sauna is more demanding on your mineral balance than most people realize.
- In the morning– the first glass of the day with electrolytes is an easy way to kickstart hydration after a night of being without fluid intake for hours.
Things you might have wondered
''Isn't a regular sports drink from the store enough?''Most commercial sports drinks contain primarily sugar—electrolytes are more of a secondary ingredient. Pulse Performance Electrolytes are sugar-free, sweetened with steviol glycosides from stevia. You get minerals, not empty calories.
''Should I drink electrolytes every day, or only during sports?''It depends on your lifestyle. With regular exercise, sauna sessions, or in hot weather, daily use makes sense—mineral balance is dynamic and continuous, not just a matter of training days. On quiet winter days without sweating, it’s up to you.
