Triple Magnesium for daily magnesium replenishment
Magnesium is a mineral without which the body simply does not function well. It is involved in energy production, muscle function, the nervous system, and sleep quality – yet an estimated 42% of European adults are chronically deficient in it. This is not because people are eating poorly, but because the modern diet provides less and less of it, while stress, caffeine, and physical exertion further deplete its reserves.
Pulse Performance Triple Magnesium combines three organic forms of magnesium – bisglycinate, citrate, and malate – each with a different absorption method and primary effect. Supplemented with vitamin B6 in its active form and prebiotic fiber. 375 mg of magnesium per serving, 100% of the RI. Raspberry flavor, no added sugar.
Why magnesium and why now
Magnesium is involved in more than 300 enzymatic reactions in the human body – from energy production and muscle contractions to nervous system function and sleep quality. It is a mineral that the body cannot produce itself and must obtain through diet or supplementation.
The problem is that the modern diet provides less and less of it. Industrial food processing, depleted agricultural soil, and a high intake of refined products mean that a large part of the population has a chronic magnesium deficit. Stress, caffeine, and alcohol further accelerate its excretion – so even people who eat relatively well may be on the edge.

Why three forms of magnesium
Not all forms of magnesium are the same. They differ in their absorption method, bioavailability, and where they primarily act in the body. Organic forms – i.e., magnesium bound to an organic molecule – are absorbed significantly better than inorganic forms like magnesium oxide, which the body utilizes only about 4% of.
Magnesium bisglycinate (75 mg)Magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine. It is one of the best-absorbed forms and is exceptionally gentle on the digestive tract. Furthermore, glycine itself supports a calm nervous system. The ideal form for daily, long-term use.

Magnesium citrate (150 mg)One of the best-studied forms of magnesium, popular for its good ratio of absorbability and tolerance. Citrate is a naturally occurring organic acid that supports the absorption of the mineral in the digestive tract. Suitable as a base for daily supplementation.

Magnesium malate (150 mg)Magnesium bound to malic acid, which is directly involved in the Krebs cycle – the key process of cellular energy production. Malate is therefore a popular form for athletes and active people for whom supporting energy metabolism is a priority.

The combination of three forms ensures broader coverage of various absorption mechanisms and tissues – each form complements what the others cannot cover on their own.
What magnesium will actually do for you
- Energy and fatigue reduction.Magnesium is essential for the synthesis of ATP — the basic energy molecule of every cell. Without sufficient magnesium levels, energy metabolism does not function at full capacity. EFSA confirms that magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy metabolism.

- Muscle function and recovery.Magnesium regulates both muscle contraction and relaxation – it plays a role on both sides of movement. Research suggests that magnesium supplementation may reduce post-workout muscle soreness and support recovery, especially in people with inadequate dietary intake.

- Nervous system and mental health.Magnesium modulates the transmission of nerve signals and influences the balance of neurotransmitters. A 2023 meta-analysis noted a beneficial effect of magnesium supplementation on symptoms of depression in adults with depressive disorder. A 2024 systematic review suggests a possible positive effect on mild anxiety – however, the authors emphasize that evidence is currently limited and further research is needed.

- Sleep.Magnesium supports natural nervous calmness and the function of GABA receptors, which play a role in inducing sleep. Studies on adults with poor sleep quality show promising results, although the total volume of high-quality research is currently limited.

- Heart and blood pressure.Magnesium contributes to maintaining normal heart function and blood pressure – EFSA recognizes these claims. Citrate and malate are forms for which this effect is well documented.
Things you might have thought about
‚‚I should be getting magnesium from food, not from powder.’’In an ideal world — yes. In practice, the magnesium content in agricultural products is significantly lower than it was decades ago due to soil depletion. Whole grains, nuts, leafy greens, and dark chocolate are good sources – but their regular consumption in sufficient quantities is more of an exception in the modern diet. Supplementation is the easiest way for most people to reliably close the gap.
‚‚But every magnesium is the same.’’It is not. Magnesium oxide – the cheapest and most common form in pharmacy tablets – has a bioavailability of approximately 4%. Organic forms like bisglycinate, citrate, or malate are absorbed much more efficiently. Cheap magnesium from the pharmacy just passes through the body – quality magnesium is actually utilized by the body.
‚‚Magnesium causes diarrhea.’’At higher doses of inorganic forms – especially oxide or sulfate – this can happen. Organic forms like bisglycinate are significantly gentler on the digestive tract. At the recommended dosage, tolerance is excellent.
Vitamin B6 in the active form P5P
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is the biologically active form of vitamin B6 – the body does not need to convert it further; it uses it directly. Combined with magnesium, it forms a functional synergy: both together contribute to normal nervous system function, energy metabolism, and the reduction of fatigue. One serving covers 100% of the RI of vitamin B6.
Prebiotic fiber inulin
Each serving contains inulin – a natural prebiotic fiber that supports the balance of the gut microbiome. A healthy gut directly influences mineral absorption, magnesium included. Inulin in this product is not a filler – it is a functional ingredient with a real benefit.
Who is Triple Magnesium for
- Athletes and active people– increased physical exertion increases the need for magnesium. Malate supports energy metabolism, bisglycinate supports recovery.
- People under stress– stress is one of the biggest "eaters" of magnesium. Chronic stress and chronic magnesium deficiency reinforce each other in a vicious cycle.
- Those who sleep poorly– magnesium supports nervous calmness and the natural induction of sleep.
- Adults 40+– the need for magnesium increases with age, while absorption decreases.
- Vegetarians and vegans– animal products are one of the main natural sources of well-absorbed magnesium.
- Anyone who drinks a lot of coffee or alcohol– both substances accelerate the excretion of magnesium by the kidneys.
How to use
Dosage:1 scoop (4.3 g) daily mixed in 200 ml of water.
When:Anytime during the day. In the evening or before bed to support nervous calmness and sleep – in the morning or before a workout for energy metabolism. Can be taken with or without food; it is gentler on digestion when taken with food.
Breaks:Not necessary. Magnesium is safe for daily, long-term use.
Tip:Do not combine with calcium at the same time – both minerals compete for absorption. Leave at least 2 hours between doses.
